Daniel Feinstein won first place in the "Piano Forever" Competition

Publish Date: 12/25/2017
At the National Young Pianists competition, "Piano Forever," which was held recently in Ashdod, Daniel Feinstein, an 11-year-old piano player a 6th-grade student from the Alumot School in Be'er-Sheva, was among the dozens of contestants. Daniel won first place in the category of participants for ages 6-11.

There were 16 judges, among them, leading Israeli and international musicians. The first place winners will be invited to perform as soloists with the best orchestras in Israel during 2018.

Daniel has been studying at the Conservatory of Music in Be'er-Sheva for five years, including three years as a student of the famous pianist Yaron Rosenthal, who performs as a soloist and as a member of most revered ensembles in the world. Rosenthal teaches excellent students at the Conservatory as part of the "Integrating Artists in Teaching" program run by the Center for Excellence in Music, a part of the Education Department of the Be'er-Sheva Municipality.

The Conservatory and the Center for Excellence in Music are working tirelessly to nurture the future generation of musicians while exposing the world of music to all children of the city.
