On September 23, a festive opening ceremony for the Advisory and Guidance Center for Urban Renewal in the Gimel neighborhood was held at the Taubel Center.
As part of the event, participants enjoyed community-wide family fun with a variety of activities. The event was attended by many city officials and leaders including Mayor Ruvik Danilovich, the Deputy Mayor, CEO of the municipality, City Council members and Divisional Directors and subsidiaries, Head of Urban Renewal and the public.
The administration's role is to assist and accompany city residents, at no cost, in performing urban renewal processes in old neighborhoods.
Moreover, there will be courses and lectures at the new Center, which will also be a place for community initiatives.
Mayor, Ruvik Danilovich related, "The Center, established by the Directorate of Urban Renewal of the municipal Economic Company, is the first facility for the social and economic development of the neighborhood. Its establishment is an integral part of creating a unified community. The Gimel neighborhood holds a special and diverse mix of people, with whom we walk hand in hand on this journey. Together we will succeed!"
